Job summary

Adecco are recruiting for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of our client based in Hallen, Bristol. The role involves processing purchase invoices, supplier payments and bank reconciliations within a busy accounts team.

The ideal candidate will have previous purchase ledger experience, strong attention to detail and good communication skills. Training on the company's finance system will be provided, and an immediate start is available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant position.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Office packages.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Experience with Access Financials would be advantageous, although training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Compiling supplier payment runs.
• Carrying out bank reconciliations.
• Handling purchase ledger queries by telephone and email.
• Acting as the first point of contact for supplier enquiries.
• Assisting the Accounts Manager with day-to-day finance administration.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
