Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting a Payroll Specialist to join a small team in Acton, West London. This temporary 3-month assignment covers sickness absence and requires an experienced payroll professional who can hit the ground running.

The role focuses on payroll operations, pension reporting, invoicing and general payroll administration. You will ensure accuracy and compliance, process payroll to deadlines, update Sage 50 records, and respond to payroll queries while maintaining

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Administrator role.
• Experience using Sage 50.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and pension administration.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good administrative and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.

• Processing payroll accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Preparing and submitting pension reports.
• Producing regular payroll and management reports.
• Raising and processing invoices.
• Maintaining payroll records and employee files.
• Managing payroll-related administration and filing.
• Updating employee records on Sage 50.
• Assisting with payroll queries from employees and management.
• Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with payroll legislation.
• Providing general administrative support to the wider team as required.
