Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join a focused operations team. This temporary contract runs until Christmas and covers 1,300 employees across five monthly payrolls for UK and ROI, with on-site work five days a week.

The role requires strong BAU payroll experience, proficiency with Sage or Dayforce, and immediate or short-notice availability to start promptly. Salary is pro-rata £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience running high-volume UK and ROI payrolls.
• Able to manage BAU payroll operations under time constraints.
• Proficient with Sage or Dayforce payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day BAU payroll operations.
• Manage monthly payroll cycles for 1,300 employees across 5 entities.
• Handle payroll data entries, validations, and processing for UK and ROI.
• Troubleshoot calculations and respond to payroll queries.
