Job summary

Pentagon Technical Services is seeking a part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant for a temporary position in Beaconsfield. You will support monthly management accounts, budgeting, cashflow reporting, forecasting and variance analysis across UK and international operations.

You will work with the finance team to monitor project budgets and cost performance, ensuring timely, accurate financial information and strong commercial understanding.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or actively studying towards a chartered qualification.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and core accounting principles; IFRS awareness is a plus.
• Experience with multi-currency transactions or group reporting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly management reporting packs for multiple regions (UK & Germany) and liaise with local finance teams.
• Help compute key metrics such as EBITDA, gross profit and utilisation, flag trends and variances.
• Prepare and post month-end journals covering accrued income, payroll, direct costs and overheads.
