Job summary

Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Temporary Lab Operations Assistant to work for a company in Milton Park. Role: Temporary Lab Operations Assistant. Salary: £13.85 per hour. Location: Milton Park. Hours: 9am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Key responsibilities include autoclaving, glassware cleaning, waste disposal, stock control and COSHH compliance, plus coordinating deep cleaning, inventory monitoring and cross-functional lab support with the operations team.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Autoclaving
• Glassware cleaning
• Waste disposal
• General tidy up and housekeeping
• Process goods with COSHH, stock control and team communication
• Maintain stock availability and monitor inventory
• Support health and safety practices and equipment cleaning schedules
• Troubleshoot facilities issues with the operations team
