Job summary

Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring a committed Temporary Lab Operations Assistant to support a Milton Park lab. Role involves routine lab tasks, autoclaving, glassware cleaning, inventory checks and coordinating cleaning schedules.

Hours are 9am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate has Maths GCSE at grade C or above, strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work both independently and with the team.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate inventory records and following lab protocols.
• Ability to work self-sufficiently while contributing to team objectives.
• Clear and effective communication for lab coordination.

Responsibilities

• Autoclaving and glassware cleaning.
• Processing goods with COSHH considerations and stock control.
• Monitor inventory and ensure stock is available for the team.
• Support health and safety best practices and weekly cleaning schedule.
• Assist with troubleshooting facilities issues with the operations team.
