Job summary

Uxbridge Employment Agency is seeking a Temporary Inventory & Logistics Administrator for a 12-month assignment in a technical laboratory environment. Location: Hayes, Middlesex. Salary: £13.50–£14.00 per hour. Start date: January 2027. Hours: Full-time.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate data, work with figures and prepare reports.
• Excellent numerical ability and a high level of accuracy.
• Bright graduates with strong numerical skills welcomed.
• Interest in working within a technical, laboratory or logistics environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining accurate Excel spreadsheets, reports and stock data.
• Analysing inventory figures, identifying discrepancies and ensuring records are accurate.
• Monitoring stock levels and coordinating the replenishment of laboratory materials and supplies.
• Updating inventory information on internal systems.
• Assisting with the ordering, receipt and movement of materials.
• Liaising with internal departments and suppliers regarding stock availability and deliveries.
• Supporting the coordination of UK and international shipments.
• Maintaining accurate administrative records and documentation.
• Helping to improve processes and day-to-day laboratory operations.
