Job summary

Your World is recruiting Health Care Support Workers for mobile clinics across the UK. The role requires at least 12 months of phlebotomy experience, with venepuncture competency, and involves working in outpatient style settings with data collection and participant care in a fast-paced environment.

Locum positions offer shifts Mon-Sun, with competitive PAYE rates and holiday pay. You will travel between sites to support clinical services, under supervision from the SDL and clinical team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months’ phlebotomy experience with validated venepuncture.
• Experience in an outpatient or similar clinical environment.
• Trained in Basic Life Support (ILS/ALS desirable).
• Strong communication and collaboration across clinical teams.
• Flexibility to travel between sites and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete required participant assessments: blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, waist, venous blood sampling.
• Ensure measurements and samples are recorded promptly in the clinical system.
• Support efficient participant flow and provide on-site operational support.
• Provide signposting and guidance to participants; escalate risks as needed.
• Prepare and package samples for courier collection; assist with governance and safety tasks.
