Job summary

Your World Healthcare UK is seeking a Healthcare Assistant with a minimum of 12 months' phlebotomy experience to join our mobile clinics across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The role focuses on safe participant flow, accurate clinical measurements, and venous blood sampling within a fast-paced research-based service.

You will work under the Service Delivery Lead, handling data collection, basic admin, and escalation of safety concerns, with shifts Mon-Fri, some weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' phlebotomy experience with validated venepuncture competency.
• Experience in an outpatient or similar clinical environment.
• Trained in Basic Life Support (ILS/ALS desirable).
• Strong communication skills with participants, colleagues and visitors.
• Understanding of quality standards, KPIs, risk assessment and infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, waist measurements and venous blood sampling.
• Record measurements and samples accurately in the clinical system.
• Support participant flow and on-site operations in mobile clinics.
• Escale safety concerns and provide guidance to participants as needed.
• Prepare samples for courier and ensure quality governance.
