Job summary

Your World Healthcare UK is seeking a Healthcare Assistant with at least 12 months’ phlebotomy experience to support mobile clinics across England and the wider UK. You will perform blood sampling, basic measurements, and ensure accurate data capture while maintaining high safety standards.

The role involves supporting participant flow, providing on-site operational assistance, and collaborating with the clinical team. Temporary booking with flexible shifts across Mon-Sun, PAYE rates apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' phlebotomy experience with validated venepuncture competency.
• Experience in an outpatient or similar clinical environment.
• Trained in Basic Life Support (ILS/ALS desirable).
• Strong communication skills with participants, colleagues and visitors.
• Ability to work collaboratively across clinical teams.
• Understanding of quality standards, KPIs, risk assessment, incident reporting, and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical measurements: blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, waist, venous blood samples.
• Ensure safe, accurate data recording in the clinical system.
• Monitor participant welfare and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Provide signposting, advice and guidance to participants.
• Provide administrative support and cover during busy periods and breaks.
• Support efficient participant flow and on-site operations.
