Job summary

Your World Healthcare UK is recruiting for Health Care Support Workers to join mobile clinics in England. A minimum of 12 months' phlebotomy experience is essential, with venepuncture competency and outpatient clinical setting exposure.

The role focuses on accurate measurements, sample collection, and patient-focused care across clinics in Bedford and surrounding areas. The position supports participant flow, data collection, and service delivery with safety and quality governance at its core.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months' phlebotomy experience.
• Experience working in an outpatient or similar clinical environment.
• Trained in Basic Life Support (ILS/ALS desirable).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with participants, colleagues, and visitors.
• Ability to work collaboratively across clinical teams.
• Understanding of quality standards, KPIs, risk assessment, incident reporting, and infection prevention and control.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard measurements: blood pressure, pulse, height, weight, waist measurements.
• Collect venous blood samples and ensure safe handling and recording in the clinical system.
• Support participant flow and maintain an efficient service at mobile clinics.
• Provide on-site administrative support and cover during busy periods or breaks.
• Escalate risks and incidents as required through the appropriate channels.
