Job summary

Beechgrove Care Home in Lanark is seeking a Temp Domestic Assistant to join our team on maternity leave cover. You will help keep rooms, bathrooms and communal areas clean, support laundry tasks and ensure high standards of hygiene across the home.

The role is 25 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, with paid PVG, pension and uniform provided, and 5.6 weeks annual leave pro-rata on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and infection control is beneficial.
• Previous experience is welcomed but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards.
• Support laundry services and ensure belongings are handled with care.
• Follow infection control and health and safety procedures; complete tasks safely.
