Job summary

Care Concern Group is recruiting a Domestic Assistant for our Deeside Care Home in Scotland. The role involves cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas to high hygiene standards, plus assisting with laundry and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.

The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week) at £12.71 per hour, with paid PVG, pension and uniform provided. We value reliability, attention to detail and teamwork to support wellbeing and comfort for residents.

Our impressive 68-bedded care facility provides residents with exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care, in a luxury setting.

Domestic Assistant Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 37.5 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Domestic Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment that supports wellbeing, dignity and comfort. This is a hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will have a direct impact on daily life.

You will be responsible for cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. You will also support laundry services, helping to ensure personal belongings are handled with care and returned correctly.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and cleaning procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with required standards. Your role will contribute to a well organised, respectful and comfortable environment for everyone.
