The customer account manager is responsible for managing the company’s relationships with its customers. They build long-term relationships with a group of customers, hit set targets, handle numerous calls daily to maximize sales opportunities, and provide excellent customer service. They address issues promptly, ensure credit limits are adhered to, and payments are received on time. Effective communication with other departments and ongoing training are essential.
The role is based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work model after training: working from home on Monday and Friday, and onsite at our Middlesbrough sales offices on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Additionally, there is a rota for 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (working from home 0830-1230).
The salary ranges from £25,000 to £32,000, depending on experience, plus performance bonuses and benefits.
