Job summary

Charles Street Finance, a specialist secured lender based in Cheadle, invites applications for a Telephony Business Development Manager role. You will build broker panels and drive new business for bridging finance through proactive outbound activity within a fast-paced, customer-focused team.

You will manage the sales pipeline, coordinate with underwriting and operations, and seek repeat business while enhancing win rates.

Qualifications

• Experience building broker networks and driving new business in a regulated secured lending environment.
• Proven ability to work targets in high-velocity sales settings and convert opportunities via phone and email.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end sales pipeline with timely follow-up and accurate forecasting.
• Proactively engage clients, brokers and introducers via phone and email to convert opportunities and secure commitments.
• Identify barriers to conversion and implement strategies to improve win rates and reduce drop-off.
• Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and operations to ensure a smooth journey from application to drawdown.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and client retention.
• Contribute to sales strategy, process improvement, and training initiatives.
