Job summary

Optical Express Group in Glasgow City Centre is seeking a Telemedicine Optometrist to deliver patient care remotely from the flagship clinic. The role involves triaging referrals, supporting the hub team and collaborating with ophthalmologists.

You will work 40 hours weekly from Tuesday to Saturday, with generous benefits including 33 days annual leave, free laser eye surgery, free eye tests and a pension scheme, plus ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Telemedicine optometrist to communicate with and treat patients via telemedicine.
• Review referrals from optometrists and GPs and allocate to the correct ophthalmology clinic.
• Provide clinical support to hub administrative team where required.
• Work with operations and clinical leads to identify improvements in service delivery.
