Job summary

Flame Health Optometry is recruiting a Telemedicine Optometrist for our client in Glasgow city centre. This on-site role offers 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, with a salary of £55,000+ depending on experience. You will liaise with patients via telemedicine, review referrals, and direct patients to the appropriate ophthalmology clinic.

Full training provided and you will work within a multidisciplinary clinical team to support referrals and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualified optometrist with ability to assess and treat patients via telemedicine.
• Experience reviewing referrals from optometrists, GPs and primary care routes.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with and treat patients through telemedicine.
• Review referrals from optometrists, GPs and other primary care routes and direct to ophthalmology clinics.
• Support hub administrative and clinical teams; collaborate with operations to improve service delivery.
