A leading eye care provider in Scotland is looking for an experienced Optometrist to join their flagship clinic in Glasgow City Centre. Responsibilities include conducting pre and post-operative consultations, providing clinical support during surgeries, and working with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Responsibilities

• Conduct pre and post-operative consultations.

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an optometrist to provide care to patients from our flagship clinic in Glasgow City Centre. You must be at least 2 years qualified on the GOC and ideally have the Independent Prescribing qualification.

You will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, and play a crucial role in the delivery of a diverse range of clinical eye care services to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Pre and post‑operative consultations for our refractive and cataract surgery patients
• Providing clinical support to our ophthalmologists during refractive surgery
• Being part of our multi‑disciplinary YAG capsulotomy service, delivering these procedures
• Providing Essential and Advanced Eye examinations for our patients
• Communicate with and treat patients via telemedicine
• Provide clinical support to the hub administrative team where required
• In the referral triage team, you will be responsible for reviewing incoming referrals from optometrists, GPs and other primary care routes, allocating them to the most appropriate ophthalmology clinic
