Samsara is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for Telematics, focused on turning Telematics products into major businesses. You’ll work directly with customers, shape product direction, and lead end-to-end initiatives from discovery to production rollout.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering with production systems experience.
• Track record shipping customer-facing products and growing them beyond launch.
• Strong product judgment, able to define problems with evidence and adapt direction.
• Experience scaling products and the systems behind them.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end initiatives from discovery to production rollout and iteration.
• Work directly with customers and cross-functional teams to identify needs and success metrics.
• Write and ship code on the critical path, across services and APIs as needed.
• Set technical direction and design pragmatic architectures for growth and learning.
