Job summary

Samsara is seeking a hands-on Staff Software Engineer to turn growing Telematics products into major businesses. You will work directly with customers to understand their operations, test ideas and build scalable solutions that teams choose to use.

This technical leadership role combines coding with product and engineering decisions, collaborating with Product, Design and Engineering to define important problems, balance trade-offs, and drive delivery from prototype to production.

Qualifications

• Track record shipping customer-facing products.
• Strong product judgement with customer interactions.
• Deep hands-on software engineering and production systems experience.
• Experience scaling products and the systems behind them.
• Technical leadership across team boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical decisions with Product and Eng teams.
