Job summary

Microlise in Exeter is seeking a Field Service & Installation Engineer to install, service and support our telematics product suite on customer assets across Exeter and surrounding areas. You will perform site visits, install products, complete surveys, and ensure QA standards while keeping inventory and safety of equipment in check.

The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence, autonomous working, strong customer communication and the ability to meet SLAs.

Qualifications

Experience in a similar role; auto electrics and/or telematics.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Experience of working to Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules.
Understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams.
Strong customer service and professional communication.
Ability to work autonomously and adhere to processes.
Passport for travel.

Responsibilities

Ensure Microlise product portfolio is integrated into customer assets.
Timely visits to customer sites to install, service and support the product suite.
Complete survey visits and identify suitable solutions.
Complete QA visits on Microlise products and peripherals in customer assets.
Inventory management.
Upkeep and safety of the vehicle and provided tools/equipment.
Liaise with customers at all levels.
Provide support to peers and contractor resources as required.
Keep administration concise, accurate and professional.
Adhere to internal processes and report statistics.
