Job summary

Microlise, a leading telematics company based in Nottingham, is seeking a Junior Field Service and Installation Engineer. You will join our East Midlands task force, travel nationwide, and install, service and support Microlise products on customer assets.

With full training provided, this field-based role requires a proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Auto electrics knowledge is a plus but not essential; you will grow your career with a supportive team and excellent development

Qualifications

Knowledge and understanding of electronics/auto electrics is a plus.
Experience of working to Service Level Agreements and operational schedules.
Understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with a professional approach.
Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Interpersonal and communication skills suitable for various audiences.
Ability to work autonomously and adhere to processes.
Pride in work with focus on quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Timely visits to customer sites to install, service and support Microlise products.
Complete survey visits and identify suitable solutions.
Conduct QA visits on Microlise products and peripherals.
Maintain the safety and upkeep of your vehicle and tools.
Liaise with customers at all levels.
Support peers and contractor resources as needed.
Ensure concise, accurate and professional administration.
Adhere to internal processes and procedures; report statistics when required.
