Job summary

Zego is hiring a Data Scientist to shape driving intelligence for real-time insurance products. You’ll develop features from telematics, build scalable pipelines in Python/SQL, and push models into production to deliver meaningful insights.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, researchers and product managers, handling GPS and sensor data to drive safer roads and fairer insurance. Hybrid work in London/UK offices is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in a relevant field with hands-on data science or data engineering experience.
• Experience writing production-grade code beyond notebooks.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine behavioural features from telematics data.
• Develop end-to-end data pipelines in Python and SQL, from heuristics to ML models.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to ship features and evaluate impact.
• Run experiments, validate hypotheses, and automate insight generation.
• Translate sensor data into clear, actionable insights that inform roadmaps.
