Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Telehandler Operator to join their busy waste and recycling site. This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator seeking ongoing work with a well‑established company.

Even if your Telehandler licence is in-date or expired, we will consider you; in-house training can be provided. You will perform pre‑start inspections, move materials safely, work with site supervisors, and help with yard duties while following health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Telehandler is required.
• Licence flexibility: in-date, expired, or in-house training provided.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a Telehandler to move waste and recyclable materials around the site.
• Carry out daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks, reporting any defects promptly.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with company Health & Safety procedures, environmental legislation, and site rules.
• Work closely with site supervisors, plant operators, and colleagues to achieve daily production targets.
• Follow site traffic management procedures and remain aware of pedestrians, mobile plant, and other vehicles at all times.
• Wear and maintain the required PPE while promoting safe working practices across the site.
• Assist with general yard and recycling plant duties when required.
• Operate other mobile plant equipment where trained and authorised to support site operations.

Our client, a leading business within the waste and recycling industry, is looking for a Telehandler Operator to join their busy site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator looking for ongoing work with a well-established company.

Don't have an in-date Telehandler licence? No problem. In-house or expired Telehandler licences will be considered, and if you have experience operating a Counterbalance or Reach FLT, full Telehandler training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
