Job summary

Simple Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting a Telehandler Operative for our Corby site in NN17. The role involves safely operating a telehandler across the site to process waste materials and support daily yard operations. You will work Monday to Friday with weekly pay and full PPE supplied.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Telehandler Licence/Ticket, can work outdoors in all weather, and adheres to health and safety procedures in a busy waste management environment.

Telehandler Operative

£15.00 per hour, paid weekly, every Friday

Overtime paid at 150% after 40 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 10.30hrs - 19.00hrs

Simple Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Telehandler Operative to join our successful client based in Corby, NN17.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a telehandler safely and efficiently across the site
• Process food and green waste materials
• Operate plant machinery including:
• Telehandler truck
• Mobile shredder
• Mobile screener
• Carry out routine maintenance associated with plant equipment
• Load outgoing vehicles and separate waste streams
• Transport materials around the facility
• Feed processing lines and hoppers with material
• Support general yard operations and assist site management as required
• Empty chutes and bunkers
• Remove waste from bays and load into the baler
• Ensure all health, safety and environmental procedures are followed
• Monitor environmental factors including weather conditions, wind, dust, noise and litter

Requirements

• Valid Telehandler Licence/Ticket
• Previous experience operating a telehandler
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience within a waste management, recycling, manufacturing or industrial environment
