Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting an experienced Telehandler Operator for a long-term position on a major residential construction site in Fairford, Gloucestershire (GL7). The role offers stable weekly hours and a competitive rate on a well-run site.

You will safely operate telehandlers, assist with deliveries, perform pre-operation checks, and strictly follow site safety regulations while supporting trades as needed.

Qualifications

• CPCS (Blue preferred) or NPORS (with CSCS logo) Telehandler card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven experience working on busy residential development sites.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, safety boots).

Responsibilities

• Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently to move materials around the site.
• Assisting with offloading deliveries and distributing materials to trades.
• Performing daily pre-operation checks on the machine.
• Adhering to strict site safety standards and health & safety regulations.
• Helping out off the machine during quieter periods if required.
