Job summary

Job&Talent is seeking an experienced FLT/Counterbalance Driver and Telehandler Off-Loading Operator to support Unipart/JCB operations in UT14 5JP. You will unload deliveries, move components, and assist production with a strong emphasis on safety and accurate paperwork.

The role requires handling oversized/high-value components, with shifts 06:00–14:30 Mon-Thu and 06:00–13:00 Fri. Pay £14.16–£21.24 per hour, overtime after 39 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (RTITB/ITSSAR desirable)
• Experience in high-volume industrial/manufacturing setting
• Able to meet deadlines and follow site procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT and Telehandler safely on site
• Off-load trailers and inbound deliveries
• Move pallets and components to storage/production areas
• Handle oversized components
• Crate VOR booms safely for storage/transport
• Complete safety checks and paperwork
• Coordinate with warehouse teams and site supervisors
• Work in a busy yard with vehicle and pedestrian movement
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards
