Job summary

Job&Talent is recruiting for an experienced FLT / Counterbalance Driver / Telehandler Off-Loading Operator to unload deliveries and move components at the Unipart/JCB site in Uttoxeter. The role involves supporting production lines, ensuring safe, efficient material flow, and handling oversized/high-value components with care.

The position requires valid FLT/Telehandler licences, ability to meet deadlines, and good teamwork in a busy industrial setting.

Qualifications

Valid FLT Counterbalance and/or Telescopic Handler licence (RTITB / ITSSAR desirable) with experience in high-volume industrial or manufacturing settings.
Ability to work to deadlines and follow site procedures.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
This role involves both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate FLT and Telehandler equipment safely within a busy Unipart, JCB site
Off-load trailers, HGV deliveries, and inbound goods
Move pallets, components, and materials to designated storage or production areas
Handling oversized components
Pack and crate VOR booms using a nail gun, ensuring they are prepared safely for storage and transportation
Complete safety checks, records, and paperwork as required
Work closely with warehouse teams, line feeders, and site supervisors
Work as part of a busy yard operation with frequent HGV, vehicle and pedestrian movement
Ensure compliance with all Unipart, JCB safety and housekeeping standards
