Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced FLT/Counterbalance Driver and Telehandler Off-Loading Operator to support operations at Unipart/JCB (ST14 5JP). You will unload deliveries, move components, and assist production lines while ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

Key responsibilities include operating FLT/Telehandler safely, off-loading, and coordinating with the warehouse team. The role is based in Uttoxeter with standard and overtime pay rates.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (RTITB/ITSSAR desirable).

Responsibilities

Job&Talent is looking for an experienced FLT / Counterbalance Driver / Telehandler Off-Loading Operator to join our team, supporting operations within the Unipart/JCB( ST14 5JP ) This role involves the safe unloading of deliveries, handling and movement of components of varying sizes and weights, and supporting production lines to maintain an efficient flow of materials.

Precision, care and attention to safety are essential when handling oversized and high-value components.

Shift Patterns: Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 14:30, Friday: 06:00 - 13:00

Pay Rates: Standard: £14.16 per hour, Overtime: £21.24 per hour (paid after 39 standard hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate FLT and Telehandler equipment safely within a busy Unipart, JCB site
• Off-load trailers, HGV deliveries, and inbound goods
• Move pallets, components, and materials to designated storage or production areas
• Handling oversized components
• Pack and crate VOR booms using a nail gun, ensuring they are prepared safely for storage and transportation
• Complete safety checks, records, and paperwork as required
• Work closely with warehouse teams, line feeders, and site supervisors
• Work as part of a busy yard operation with frequent HGV, vehicle and pedestrian movement
• Ensure compliance with all Unipart, JCB safety and housekeeping standards

Requirements

• Valid FLT Counterbalance and/or Telescopic Handler licence (RTITB / ITSSAR desirable)
• Experience working in a high volume industrial or manufacturing setting
• Ability to work to deadlines and follow site procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
