Job summary

Fawkes & Reece in Wokingham is seeking a Telehandler for a site-based role on a high-end residential development. You will transport materials, load and unload goods, move pallets, and ensure loads are secure while maintaining daily equipment checks on site.

The role requires a current CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS, at least 3 years of Telehandler experience, and a collaborative, reliable approach to work in a busy construction environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS ticket.
• Minimum 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler.
• Willing to work in the Wokingham area.
• Site health & safety knowledge preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets.
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.

A well-established regional developer whose focus is on the high-end residential sector with each scheme typically ranging from 20-30 units.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

• You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
