Job summary

Fawkes and Reece in Twyford are seeking an on-site Telehandler for a temporary, full-time role with a reputable construction company. You will load/unload, move materials, check loads, and keep pallets neat while complying with site safety.

You must hold a current CPCS blue card or NPORS CSCS permit and have 3+ years’ experience on Telehandlers in similar environments; health & safety awareness is a bonus; strong team ethic and ability to work independently are valued.

Qualifications

• Current CPCS Blue Card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• Minimum 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in similar site environments.
• Health & safety knowledge is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets.
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.

Do currently work in Construction? Are you a Telehandler currently looking for work? Do you hold a valid CPCS/NPORS CSCS card? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Twyford area.

• Contract type: Temporary (Full time)

The company:

A well establish contractor that operates in various sectors such as the industrials, education, commercial and refurbishment space.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
