Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking a Telehandler on site to load and unload goods, move pallets, and transport materials to designated areas on the site.

You will be responsible for ensuring loads are secure, stacking pallets, and performing daily equipment checks such as battery charging and lubrication. A current CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS ticket and 3+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS ticket.
• 3+ years experience operating a Telehandler in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from vehicles and transport materials on site.
• Obtain and follow production schedules; move materials to designated areas.
• Check loads are secure and stack pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks including battery charging and lubrication.
• Remove attachments and waste material from machines.

The company:

A well establish contractor that operates in various sectors such as the industrials, education, commercial and refurbishment space.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You will need a current and valid CPCS (blue) card or NPORS CSCS experienced driver ticket.
• A minimum of 3 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment.
