Job summary

Skilled Careers are recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator for a long-term construction project in the Deepcut area, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established contractor on a busy residential development.

You will operate the telehandler safely, load and unload materials, perform daily checks and help with general site duties. A valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket and recent references are required.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket.
• Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to provide recent work references.

Responsibilities

• Operate the telehandler safely and efficiently around site.
• Load, unload and distribute materials to trades.
• Move deliveries and store materials in designated areas.
• Carry out daily machine checks and report any defects.
• Assist with general site duties when required.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures.
