Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group on site in the United Kingdom is seeking a Telehandler to transport materials, load/unload from trucks, move pallets, check loads, stack pallets and carry out daily equipment checks under the site manager's instructions.

You should have Telehandler experience and hold CPCS or NPORS/CSCS, with a strong work ethic and the ability to act as a reliable point of contact in a standalone role.

Responsibilities

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

The company:

A well established regional contractor who specialises in residential new builds.

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

Ideally you will have previous working experience in a Telehandler position

You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.

You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.

Previous experience in a Telehandler

You will have a CPCS or NPORS/CSCS
