Job summary

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a Telehandler on-site to support safe loading, unloading and movement of materials across the site in Andover, England. You will carry out daily checks, ensure loads are secure and assist with pallet handling and waste removal where required.

The ideal candidate holds a current CPCS Telehandler card (experienced driver ticket) and has at least 1 year of hands-on experience in a similar environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CPCS Telehandler card (experienced driver ticket).
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on Telehandler experience in a similar environment.
• Working knowledge of site health and safety procedures is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Check loads are secure and safe for transport.
• Stack empty pallets when required.
• Perform daily equipment checks (e.g., recharge battery, lubricate equipment).
• Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines.

Job description

The role:

As the Telehandler on site, you will be responsible for the following:

• Obtain copies of production schedule daily and transport materials to and from designated areas on site.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines

About you:

• Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Strong work ethic in a team.
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• You will need a current and valid CPCS card experienced driver ticket.
• A minimum of 1 years+ experience operating a Telehandler in the same environment
