Job summary
Network Rail in Milton Keynes seeks an experienced Telecoms Systems Engineer to lead the Central Telecom business plan, renewals, and engineering support services. Qualifications
- In-depth telecoms engineering experience, especially renewals and enhancements.
- Understanding of policy, safety and performance standards for signal engineering.
- Valid UK driving licence or willingness to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and delivery of the Central Telecom business plan and renewal work bank.
- Define requirements criteria for telecom engineering works and maintenance acceptance.
- Handover support to delivery and manage scope changes and asset deliverables.
- Provide engineering input for maintenance regimes and asset activity planning.
- Maintain accurate records of telecom assets and configuration history.
- Lead asset condition inspections and inform the asset database and renewals.
- Review derogation requests and support assurance processes.
- Monitor telecom asset reliability and drive corrective actions.
