Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Lead Integration Specialist to architect, design, and implement an enterprise integration platform. You'll bridge Telecom Inventory Systems with OSS/BSS, primarily using Apache Camel, to deliver robust, scalable, low-latency patterns.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise integration with hands-on Camel expertise (Camel Core, Camel K, Spring Boot integration).
• Strong knowledge of Telecom Inventory Systems and networks (5G, SDN/NFV, Core).
• Proficiency in Java 8+ and Camel DSL (Java/XML) with message brokers (Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ).
• Experience with containers, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab, AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs (TMF638/639) and data formats (SOAP/REST/JSON/XML).

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Integration Specialist with 10-12 years of IT experience to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of next-generation enterprise integration platform.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex Telecom Inventory Systems (such as Amdocs Cramer, Comarch Inventory) and core OSS/BSS platforms. Your primary toolset will centre on Apache Camel to build robust, scalable, and low-latency integration patterns. You will drive technical strategy, mentor engineering teams, and ensure seamless data flow across critical telecom infrastructure.

Your profile

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise integration, with at least 5+ years of deep technical hands-on experience using Apache Camel (including Camel Core, Camel K, Spring Boot integration, and various Camel components).
• Strong understanding of Telecom Inventory Systems (e.g., Netcracker, Amdocs Cramer, Oracle Asap/M6, Ericsson/Telcordia) and telecommunications networks (FTTH, 5G, SDN/NFV, Core Network).
• Proficiency in Java (8 or higher), Spring Boot, and Camel DSL (Java or XML).
• Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
• Deep knowledge of TM Forum Open APIs (e.g., TMF638 Service Inventory, TMF639 Resource Inventory), SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, and Netconf/Yang.
• Experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Good to have:

• Oracle Database Expertise: Strong experience with Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL), including writing optimized queries, stored procedures, and handling large data volumes common in telecom network environments.
• Experience tuning Oracle DB performance in integration layers (e.g., connection pooling, indexing strategies for Camel routes).
• Familiarity with TM Forum Frameworks (eTOM, SID, Open APIs TMF638,TMF 639 ..etc )
• Certifications in Apache Camel, Java, or Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP).
