Job summary

AliveDx in Penicuik, Scotland seeks a Technology Transfer Scientist to bridge R&D and Manufacturing, leading transfer activities and ensuring GMP-compliant implementation of new products and processes.

You will coordinate validation programs, develop transfer strategies, and provide technical guidance across teams, while maintaining project timelines and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering or related discipline.
• GMP-regulated pharma/biotech/medical device experience.
• Knowledge of Blood Grouping Reagents and processes.
• Experience in process development or technology transfer.
• Strong project planning and stakeholder management.
• Proactive and flexible with deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology transfer projects for new products, manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Plan, coordinate and drive technology transfer activities with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop and present technology transfer strategies and project plans.
• Lead preparation and execution of validation batches and provide technical guidance to the teams.
• Create and manage GMP documentation including manufacturing protocols, validation protocols, process maps, final product specifications and BMRs.
• Analyse process data and quality control results to support successful implementation.
• Manage Non-Conformances, CAPAs and Change Controls associated with technology transfer.
• Report project progress against agreed timelines with cross-department communication.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to new manufacturing projects.
