Job summary

AliveDx is hiring a Team Leader for its Warehouse near Edinburgh to lead daily operations, drive inventory accuracy and ensure GMP/GxP compliance. You will manage a skilled team, oversee KPIs and collaborate with Production, Quality and Procurement to optimise material flow and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing people in warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, compliant and customer‑focused service.
• Provide leadership to the warehouse team, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, development, performance management and employee engagement.
• Ensure robust inventory control through stock management, cycle counting, reconciliation and effective inventory governance.
• Manage and monitor warehouse KPIs and operational performance, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions where required.
• Develop and continuously improve warehouse processes, layouts, storage solutions, systems and workflows to improve efficiency, quality and service.
• Maintain a high level of audit readiness and represent warehouse operations during internal and external audits, ensuring findings are addressed effectively and within agreed timescales.
• Ensure warehouse activities comply with GMP, GDP, GxP, Health & Safety, Quality Management Systems and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with Production, Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to optimise material flow and warehouse performance.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, 5S and GEMBA, to drive operational excellence.
