Job summary

Northern LGPS in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Technology to shape its multi-year technology strategy, governance and operational resilience as it enters an FCA authorised investment management phase.

Based across Bradford, Manchester or Liverpool, you will lead technology policy, risk management, budget, and supplier oversight while building a capable team and ensuring secure, reliable systems and data.

• Strategic leader with governance, risk and operational resilience focus.
• Experience delivering technology strategy in complex organisations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Provide strong governance across technology strategy, operations and change.
• Lead technology risk management, cybersecurity, disaster recovery and continuity planning.
• Oversee budgets, cost control and supplier management to ensure value for money.
• Drive digital transformation, automation and service improvements.
• Ensure availability, performance and reliability of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing technology team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
