Job summary

YTL UK Group is seeking a Technology Director to shape the tech strategy for Aviva Arena and the YTL Live estate. You will lead the delivery of infrastructure, systems and digital experiences, ensuring security, resilience and performance for large-scale live events.

You’ll work with construction, design and operations to overcome challenges, deliver on time, and create innovative, customer-focused technology environments that power unforgettable experiences for artists and fans.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading technology strategy, delivery and operations in large, complex venues or live entertainment settings.
• Proven ability to scale technology from blueprint to BAU operations.
• Track record delivering multi-system technology programs with multiple suppliers and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, digital platforms, data, and cyber security.
• Experience procuring and managing strategic technology partners and suppliers.
• Ability to influence at senior leadership level and translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Passion for innovation and transforming customer and venue experiences.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the technology strategy powering Aviva Arena and YTL Live estate.
• Lead the technology program behind Aviva Arena’s opening, integrating infrastructure, systems and data.
• Ensure technology is secure, resilient, scalable for thousands of fans.
• Collaborate with design, construction and operations to remove delivery roadblocks.
• Create engaging digital experiences for audiences using technology across the journey.
• Build strong partnerships with suppliers and technology partners for value and innovation.
• Drive sustainable tech decisions aligning with business goals and environmental aims.
• Develop robust disaster recovery and event-day resilience plans.
• Spot opportunities to innovate and keep YTL Live ahead of the curve.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing technology team.
