Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a Technology Director to shape the technology strategy for Aviva Arena and the wider YTL Live estate in the UK. You will lead the delivery of systems, infrastructure and digital experiences, ensuring security, resilience and scalability to support world-class entertainment.

You will collaborate with design, construction and operations to deliver the technology programme for the arena opening and ongoing operations, building a high-performing team and partnerships with suppliers

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading technology strategy, delivery and operations within live entertainment or similarly complex customer-facing environments.
• Proven ability to build technology capability from blueprint to BAU operation.
• Experience delivering large-scale technology programmes with multiple systems, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge across infrastructure, digital platforms, enterprise systems, data and cyber security.
• Track record of creating secure, resilient and commercially effective technology environments.
• Experience procuring, negotiating and managing strategic technology partners and suppliers.
• Confidence operating at senior leadership level, influencing decisions and translating complex technical concepts into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the technology strategy powering Aviva Arena and the wider YTL Live estate.
• Lead the technology programme behind opening Aviva Arena, integrating infrastructure, systems, data and digital experiences.
• Ensure technology is secure, resilient, scalable and ready for thousands of fans.
• Collaborate with design, construction and operations teams to remove roadblocks and keep delivery on track.
• Create brilliant digital experiences for audiences using technology across the customer journey.
• Build partnerships with suppliers and technology partners to maximise value and innovation.
• Drive sustainable technology decisions aligned with business goals and environmental ambitions.
• Develop robust disaster recovery and event-day resilience plans.
