Job summary

MJ Quinn is seeking a mid-level Business Analyst to help deliver new or improved business processes and software solutions aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals. You will analyse current processes, identify inefficiencies, and define requirements in collaboration with business sponsors and IT teams to drive value.

Working within Agile and ITIL practices, you will document BRDs, functional specs, user stories and use cases, while ensuring effective stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Gather, clarify, and document business and system requirements for new processes or software features.
• Analyse current business workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and opportunities for improvements.
• Work within Agile project delivery frameworks and ITIL service management practices.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyse requirements with business sponsors and users to define scope and needs.
• Map and improve business processes, create process models and diagrams to illustrate current vs target state.
• Translate needs into actionable BRDs, functional specs, user stories and use cases for Agile teams.
• Collaborate in Agile lifecycle with Product Owners and dev teams to refine backlog and acceptance criteria.
• Assist QA to validate solutions meet requirements and support UAT scenarios.
• Act as liaison between business sponsors and technical teams, facilitating meetings and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
