Job description

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Service Technician to become a part of our esteemed service department at Bury St Edmunds Audi, part of Marriott Motor Group. As a family-run business with over one hundred years of experience in the transport industry, our core values are rooted in exceptional customer service, personal relationships, expertise, and honesty. We pride ourselves on our knowledgeable and passionate team who are dedicated to providing the highest standards of service.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs. While MOT testing experience is preferred, it is not essential. Additionally, if you are a Diagnostic Technician, we would love to hear from you.

As a Technician, your key responsibilities will be:
  1. Accurately and skillfully undertake diagnosis, repairs, and servicing of motor vehicles to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
  2. Ensure full understanding of the latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
  3. Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required.
  4. Work with other departments in the retailer to facilitate the servicing and repair of vehicles.
  5. Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair.
  6. Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines.
  7. Fulfil all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
  8. Help the retailer achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency.
