Mondelēz International is recruiting a Technician for the Bournville Pilot Plant in Birmingham to support process trials and day-to-day operations. Qualifications

  • Experience in process development or pilot plant operations.
  • Ability to operate low complexity equipment.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Strong analytical and writing skills for technical reports.
  • Teamwork and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Support trial activities in pilot plant and production environments.
  • Weighing, material additions and other manual activities.
  • Operate low complexity process equipment and assist in hand moulding tasks.
  • Support Food Safety & Quality and ensure GMP compliance.
  • Dispose of non-conforming materials and ensure accurate labelling.
  • Assist environmental monitoring programs and compliance initiatives.
  • Support Health & Safety, 5S and continuous improvement actions.

You lead in the execution of experiments and trials that are required to complete process design and process deployment for innovation/growth projects and productivity projects across multiple geographies.How you will contributeYou will be responsible for the seamless implementation of process trials in pilot plant, factories and with suppliers, offering your operational expertise in specific process unit operations for the total category. In addition, you will help plan for the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. Good analytical and writing skills are important in this role because you will create technical reports that require the analysis and interpretation of results leading to conclusions and recommendations.
