We're recruiting for a full time Creative Media Technician to join our Creative Arts Department at Richmond Campus.
You will provide appropriate support to the work of students, lecturers and employers. The postholder will assist with preparation of the TV/Film studio space and external spaces such as the auditorium, demonstration of techniques and maintenance of equipment in all our Creative Media areas, not limited to, but including working with employers on site to deliver professional standard weekly Podcasts, assist with the editing process, VFX/CGI set ups, live recordings in the theatre spaces and at special events, also assist in other areas of Creative Industries as necessary.
Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group (HRUC) and is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old’s and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years. We have opened a new building in 2020 and a brand-new technology-focused STEM Centre in 2024.
This exciting and innovative new learning environment is located within the grounds of the current college site, so remains convenient for public transport links – it is adjacent to the A316 and just a short walk from Twickenham rail station and a number of regular London bus routes.

Please note: for individuals who start a term time only role after 1st September, the salary will be pro-rated from the start date to the end of this academic year (31 st August 2026). This ensures that the correct entitlement to pay and holiday pay relative to the portion of the year worked.
