Carbase UK in Avonmouth/Portbury is hiring a Vehicle Technician for a 4-day week with a competitive basic salary and potential earnings of £50,000+ per year with overtime. You will drive an Electric Vehicle and join a fast-growing automotive business in the South West.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance is required.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills are essential.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician with MOT knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and prepare vehicles to high standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out vehicle health checks.
• Use the latest diagnostic technology.
• Deliver quality workmanship in a modern workshop.
• Work as part of a skilled preparation team.

Join us immediately at our existing site in Avonmouth in readiness for our exciting move! We're investing millions into our brand-new, state-of-the-art Vehicle Preparation Centre in Portbury, and are looking for skilled Vehicle Technicians who want more than just another workshop job.

What You'll Get

4-Day Week

Choose the shift that works for you:

• Monday–Thursday | 6am–6pm
• Tuesday–Friday | 6am–6pm

That's every weekend as a 3-day weekend.

What We're Looking For

Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds (or equivalent)

Experience as a Vehicle Technician

Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills

Full UK Driving Licence

MOT Tester? Great - but not essential
