Job summary

Looking for your next move as a Vehicle Technician in Cardiff? This role offers servicing, maintenance and repairs in a busy main dealership, with opportunities to develop diagnostic skills and technical ability. £34,000 basic salary with OTE £41,500 and 30 days leave, plus a weekend rota on Saturdays.

You'll join an established workshop focused on high-quality work and customer service, with ongoing training and staff benefits in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is required.
• At least 2 years' main dealer experience.
• Own tools and toolbox; full UK manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and general vehicle repairs.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently; carrying out Vehicle Health Checks and CITNOW videos.
• Completing all work to a high standard of quality and efficiency.
• Following manufacturer and health & safety standards.
• Accurately documenting work in line with warranty guidelines.
• Providing professional advice and support to customers where required.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00 + Saturday mornings on rota

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic who has:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• At least 2 years' main dealer experience
• Strong technical and diagnostic ability
• MOT Licence desirable but not essential
• Own tools and toolbox
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Right to work in the UK, with no sponsorship available
