The School of Computer Science and Technology (CST) is growing, and we are searching for an ambitious Computer Science Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Computing department, you will work closely with our academic team to provide essential practical skills training to our students, preparing them for successful careers.
CST offers a cutting-edge education that combines hands-on experience with research-led teaching, ensuring students stay updated with industry advancements. As a Technician, you will facilitate practical learning opportunities in our state-of-the-art labs, including Computing, Networking, and Cyber Labs.
Your responsibilities will include guiding students and faculty in the safe and effective use of lab facilities, maintaining equipment to high standards, and supporting research activities. Flexibility is essential, as you may need to work during weekends or unconventional hours to accommodate lab access.
Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in Computing, IT, Networking, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience. Relevant certifications will be advantageous.
