A leading company in rail transport is looking for a Technician 1 for the Reading Train Care Depot to handle the maintenance of rolling stock. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering and be able to work varied shifts. Join a dynamic team ensuring the highest safety and technical standards.
We are looking for a, driven individual to undertake the position of Technician 1 (across nights, days and wheel lathe) at Reading Train Care Depot. The successful candidate will be joining a team responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance of Class 387 & 16X rolling stock. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with a desire to succeed.

About the location
Reading Train Care Depot is a large varied site with good transport links. The outstations are accessible by rail and road.

The successful candidate must live within a one-hour commute of the depot.
